Growing up in a religious home and marrying a man from the church, she never anticipated the dark turn her life would take. Through it all, she bravely recounts her struggles with pornography in her marriage, the horrifying realization of her husband's sexual desires toward their daughter, and the crucial importance of recognizing that not everyone in the church may have good intentions.

Throughout this conversation, Brigette Gildemaster opens up about her path to healing and rebuilding self-confidence. I had to leave at the drop of a hat with a medically dependent son, and a 1-year-old daughter, while also 4 months pregnant with another daughter.

I have had to learn not only how to trust others but to trust myself again. I learned how to find my grounding, work through the past, and create inner peace like nothing I had ever experienced before.

I truly believe God has given me these stories and life lessons to empower and help other women grow in their own unique stories and situations. I have a beautiful messy story and there is so much out there to offer a struggling person that I can't be quiet.

I WANT ALL WOMEN TO BE COMFORTABLE IN THEIR IDENTITY AND VALUE WHO THEY ARE EVEN WHEN THEY FEEL BROKEN AND LOST IN THEIR LIFE SITUATIONS.

Connect with Brigette Gildemaster

FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/brigettemay.gildemaster/

INSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/brigette_gildemaster/?hl=en

LINKEDIN: https://www.linkedin.com/in/brigette-gildemaster-325660184/

YOUTUBE: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQyVDtNxDNwWMCFfLeJWFUg

PINTEREST: https://pin.it/3ulDcNo

BLOG: https://brigettegildemaster.com/features

PODCAST: https://brigettegildemaster.com/podcast

Connect with Gemma Serenity Gorokhoff, the host of Real Talk Real Women Breaking the Silence Around Abuse https://gemmaserenity.com

Do you care about getting featured on this podcast?

Apply here: https://apply.realtalk-realwomen.com

Support the podcast and its mission; become a sponsor or a supporter.

Learn more here: https://sponsors.realtalk-realwomen.com

Source webpage with picture, format, and more links:

https://www.realtalk-realwomen.com/e/betrayal-mending-wounds-brigette-gildemaster/

Get full access to Gemma’s Gem at gemmasgem.substack.com/subscribe

The podcast and artwork embedded on this page are from Gemma Serenity Gorokhoff.
